2734型结构紧凑，重量轻，放于一个坚固的空运箱中，很容易安全的运送到测量地点。
所有的连接接头和控制都位于前端，便于使用，放大器能安放于侧方和后方，便于操作需要。
凭借其校准控制和水平指示灯，可以获得正确的输出量级，同时也可方便的重复先前的设置。为了提高其灵活性，该放大器有XLR插座、jack和BNC输入插孔。灵敏度为10dB时，可使放大器对应于多种信号源水平。

Compact, lightweight and built into a robust flight case, Power Amplifier Type 2734 is easy and safe to carry and transport to the measurement location.
All connnectors and controls are on the front for easy access, and the amplifier can stand horizontally or vertically as required for convenient operation.
With its calibrated controls and level indicator lamps, getting the output level right and reproducing previous settings is simple. For flexibility, the amplifier has XLR, jack and BNC input sockets. A sensitivity selector in 10 dB steps adapts the amplifier to a variety of source-signal levels and sound sources. Maximum output power is 500 W with a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20000 Hz within ± 1 dB.
Two models of Power Amplifier Type 2734
Power Amplifier Type 2734 is available in two versions. Type 2734-A is the basic version, while Type 2734-B includes a wireless audio system to accommodate ‘cable-free’ transmission of the building acoustics test signal between measurement system and amplifier. Wireless operation has many advantages not least the convenience and speed of source and receiver position changes during the assessment.
The measurement systems
The generator signal from Hand-held Analyzer Type 2250/2270 can be connected to the input of Type 2734 to provide the pink or white noise used in building and room acoustics.
With Type 2734-B, simply plug the Type 2250/2270 generator signal into the pocket wireless transmitter. The 2250/2270 generated test signal is then transmitted wirelessly to the receiver in the 2734 flight case.
Type 2734 has a built-in generator, providing pink or white noise in the 50–5000 Hz range. It can be turned on and off from the front panel, or with the optional Wireless Remote Control UA-1476 (the same as used to control Tapping Machine Type 3207). Transmitter UA-1476 has a pushkey for manual control, and a cable for automatic control from the analyzer (2250, 2270 or 2260)
Some of the more notable functionality integrated into the Type 2734 is outlined as follows.
Weighing less than 7kg, Power Amplifier Type 2734 is easy to transport to the measurement location whether at ground floor or top floor level
Noiseless amplifier operation for when measurements require it, e.g., reverberation time measurement in quiet conditions, and low-noise, fan-cooled operation when long periods of high level output are required
Built-in pink and white noise generator controlled manually or automatically using the wireless remote control option for Hand-held Analyzers Type 2250, 2270 and 2260
Wireless transmission of the test signal from the measuring instrument to the amplifier using the UL-0256 wireless accessory option allows a simple and cable-free measurement process
